Our Mission
A New Beginning Starts Here
For many young adults ages 18–24 aging out of the foster care system, the transition into independence can feel uncertain and overwhelming. TFTH Young Adults Aging Out of the Foster Care System Program is designed to meet young adults at that critical turning point — providing safe housing, structured support, and real-life guidance to help them move forward with confidence.
Through mentorship, life-skills development, employment assistance, and a stable home environment, we help young adults across South Carolina shift from survival mode to stability and success — turning uncertainty into opportunity and independence into achievement.
Lexington County & Beyond
Suggested Priority Focus Regions
These regions are known for higher youth population, housing insecurity counts, or service concentrations and are good starting proxy targets:
- Columbia / Richland & Lexington Counties — State capital region; high overall population.
- Charleston & North Charleston (Berkeley & Charleston Counties) — Major coastal metro area with youth services demand (e.g., transitional facilities like NuHouse).
- Greenville / Spartanburg (Upstate) — Growing urban area with significant young adult population.
- Florence & Myrtle Beach Coastal Corridor — Moderate population centers with regional service gaps.
- Rock Hill / York County — Close to Charlotte metro, increasing youth mobility housing needs.
